VizX Design Studios reimagined this Glen Ellyn backyard to seamlessly complement the home’s architecture while enhancing the charm of the existing pond and outdoor setting. The compact space was transformed into a multi-use retreat featuring moonlight landscape lighting, a mesmerizing natural gas fire feature, and a soothing water feature. The team carefully worked within the existing landscape, repurposing portions of the old deck to blend with new materials. With thoughtful attention to detail—even ensuring the safe relocation of the resident koi fish to a neighbor’s pond—the result is a warm, functional oasis that feels perfectly at home in its surroundings.
